Tre Lanham and Mitchell Settles signed to play college football next fall, continuing their athletic careers.  Lanham will be playing for the Presbyterian Blue Hose and Settles will be playing for the North Greenville Crusaders.

Lanham played offensive line and linebacker for the Rebels. He regularly graded out in the high 80’s for his blocking.  As a linebacker he recorded 53 tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss. “Tre is a guy who has definitely kept his priorities in order the last four years.  Our priorities are God, family, academics, football.  Tre is a great student and really loves the game of football.  Tre was a three year starter for us and was the anchor of our offensive line as a senior.  His size definitely gives him the opportunity to play early for the Blue Hose.  We wish Tre nothing but the best,” said head coach Antwaun Hillary.

Settles played running back and defensive back for the Rebels. He rushed for 613 yards, averaging 7.4 yards per carry and scored 7 touch downs his senior year.  Defensively, he recorded 24 tackles, with an interception and a fumble recovery. “Mitchell is a quality young man that has a tremendous upside.  Mitchell does exactly what he is coached to do and has been a pleasure to coach over the last four years.  Mitchell is also a kid that has battled a lot of adversity due to injuries, but each year he continued to get bigger, faster, and stronger.  He is also one of the most explosive guys I’ve ever coached.  Mitchell is someone I know will go on to represent his family, community, and our football program well,” said head football coach Antwaun Hillary.
